Jook Sing Panda is a cafe in New York, New York. It is listed at 97 Chrystie St, New York, NY 10002, which places it among the local businesses of New York that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under bakery, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (646) 220-6980. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is jooksingny.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 36 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded cafes & coffee in New York.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The owners are so kind. You can sit in and enjoy premium teas and Hong Kong styled egg tarts made from scratch. I just tried the new item on the menu, grass jelly with ice cream. I would definitely be back!!πŸ˜‹

Delicious egg tarts in a small hidden Chinatown store!!! I’ve always had the original egg tarts all my life but this pandan flavored one is just top notch for me! Even the original flavor tasted good! Both were smooth and flavorful. Spoke to the owner and he’s such a kind and humble man. I learned that the tarts are made using a Hong Kong family recipe which makes it even better. Anyone who loves egg tarts should try it! The inside cafe atmosphere is clean and quiet. Great for some peace and relaxing time alone or with a few friends.

This store is super cute!! I'd recommend trying their egg tarts, they're so silky and just the perfect amount of sweet for me. The regular and pandan ones are only $2.50. They also have a tea and souvenir area to check out. I definitely want to come back for their hong kong milk tea and dumplings. The owners are so sweet and friendly when I was speaking to them in Cantonese, it reminds me of home πŸ₯Ή Kevin even cut the egg tart for me to share it with a friend!

My friend and I stumbled upon this hidden cafe/shop on our way to dinner. We were intrigued by the sign out front that stated they sold Pandan Egg tarts plus the name of the store is Jooksing, which my friend and I both are. So, we decided to go in and try the egg tarts. To our surprise, there was a lot more different flavors from your typical egg tart. We tried the Cheese Tuna Egg tart, Peach Resin Egg Tart, and Pandan Leaf Egg tart. The crust was thin and the egg tart itself was smooth and delicious. Our favorite one was the Cheese Tuna Egg tart, definitely very different from what we're used to but in the best way possible. We didn't catch the lady's name but she was lovely and so was Kevin. Very sweet people who run this place and the service is fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!

I highly recommend this store if you want to sit somewhere cute and eat something delicious. This adorable little store has an amazing secret, in the back of the store is a cafe. They sell egg tarts for $2. They have regular Egg tarts-not too sweet, light egg flavor, crispy and flaky crust, and a perfect treat. The Panda eggs tarts are just as amazing but with a hint of vanilla. The soft silky slightly sweet egg custard in a flaky and crispy crust is worth the trip. I was able to enjoy it with my Hong Kong Milk Tea. While I did not get dumplings, the jealousy I felt after smelling/seeing a bowl get served had me almost turning around to order some to go. I highly recommend this super cute store, with a cafe in the back. I know I'll be back for more(and those dumplings).
